Lexi, wondering why I was up at 4am, and not all cozy in bed, because I was doing cake preparation and making decorations!

So, due to the bitterly cold weather, Lexi has been forced to forgo her normal dramatic opera which requires quite a backward and forward meowing performance from myself and her before she will grace me with her presence.

Now, just to find somewhere warm to snuggle, I have noticed her sneaking onto the bed and cuddling up as close as possible. Although she still gets grumpy if I haven't put enough effort into making her bed daily - yes, the bed that she kneads for five minutes and then gets abandoned 🙄🤦‍♀️

My knitting has come a long way and in my latest knitting post:

I show just how cutely disruptive she can be. She turns into an absolute kitten at the sight of moving yarn and even gets herself all tangled up and her claws stuck - when I have to help her get loose despite her protestations!

She has also developed a habit of sitting on my knitting when I am not looking, so when I turn around to knit the next row, usually wile I am waiting for something to load on my laptop, which brings all knitting to a halt!

I wonder if she'd even sit in it if I knitted her a bed? Or would she just behave the same way as she does now?

She's definitely also going through a super affectionate stage, even with me. Normally these moves are reserved for Daddy, AKA @zakludick,

but she's been giving me a taste of her love. Meowing for scratches and belly rubs!

She has also been demanding to taste whatever I am eating: from apricot jam toast to scrambled eggs. You'd be surprised what she eats! Like she loves Doritos!? I like to make my scrambled egg a bit exciting sometimes by adding garlic, herbs and jalapeno chilies to the pan before adding the eggs. I knew she wasn't going to eat any of my meal yesterday, but she insisted on a little bite! I think she got a fright! hahahaha. I know I know, it's a terrible habit to feed her off my plate, but that's between you and me :p sssssshhhhhhh🤫🤐🤪

Squeek also turns to her kitten side, when I have the rare opportunity to knit downstairs. She s a creature of habit and HER human is Aime. That means she spends most of her time in @aimeludick's room. Sometimes I get the rare opportunity to photograph her!
